Numbers 8 & 9 were designed to be pen tool outlines of drawings structured by my initials. The drawing , and logo, would vary based on the project at hand; If it's more of an architectural project, perhaps the logo would be my initials constructing a house, etc...
#3it has a unique shape to the rest of them and the simple s in the middle stands out
ReplyDeleteThe logo I found to fit the 5 characteristics very well was #3. The logo is simple yet it has a uniqueness about it. #3 is not overly detailed, but has just enough that it can still be read clearly while making a lasting impression. #5 is also cool, but the little details possibly might be too much if someone were to try and fit it on a business card. Otherwise very cool concepts, I like the variety of shapes!
ReplyDeleteThe most successful logos in this exploration are numbers 1 and 3. They are simple, easy to remember, effective graphics, and have better readability compared to the rest. 1 could be improved with colors to show where the letters overlap or even to make a play on the dollar sign that the shape is reminiscent of. I prefer 3 except for one thing: I can't tell if there are three letters, JSD, or if there is simply a shape attached to the edge for no real purpose but to frame the S ( which is highly effective aesthetically, but bothersome for practicality.) Perhaps chose 3 and make it stand for Julio Sanchez Designs~
ReplyDeleteBrilliant thought
Delete#3 is the best logo to me as it's simple and unique. I think #5 stands out to me as well, but it's too much and not much detail would be there if rationalized. If you can make #3 stand out even more than it already does than I think you have a logo.
ReplyDeleteNo. 1 is my favorite. It uses the initials well and it seems simple enough, but memorable. It looks like the dollar sign, which makes it easy to remember.
ReplyDeletei really like number 7. It is really creative and has a uniqueness of how the j looks like a person. it is simple and it needs to be a little more sharp to tell its a person.
ReplyDeleteI think number 3 is great because of the size and the shape of it. I think the smaller ones will be hard to tell what it is
ReplyDeleteI would say the best ones are #1 and #3. I like the way you made the S resemble the dollar sign connected to the J; one thing i would try is separating the two and align them side by side just to see how it would turn out. As for #3 theres really not much i can say except for the simple that that its awesome. Maybe you can put the $ in the middle just for fun, but overall i like the way it is
ReplyDeleteI would say that I thought #3 was the best logo because of how simple it is but yet is understandable and bold enough to get the audience's attention. #7 I thought was cool as well because it looked as though you made the J into a person jumping towards the S.
ReplyDeleteI like the first 1s simplicity and that its versatile also. I think to me it fits the description the best to me.
